About our practice in Customs and International TradeLaw:  Junker & Nakachi, P.C. is a boutique law firm based on San Francisco, and with offices in Seattle and Los Angeles.  Our practice in Customs and International Trade law relates to the laws governing the transportation, entry, and sale of foreign commercial goods in the United States.  This often relates to issues arising from the act of importing and exporting; however, many other U.S. and foreign laws are also implicated in international trade as well.   Since we deal with federal laws, the scope of our practice is nationwide, however, the firm is fortunate to have close geographic proximity to the major service ports along the west coast of the United States, including San Francisco, Seattle and Los Angeles/Long Beach.

Our San Francisco offices are located in the landmark Spear Tower at One Market Street in the heart of the financial district of San Francisco.  We are minutes from the San Francisco Customhouse at 555 Battery Street, as well as the executive offices of the Port of San Francisco on the waterfront, and the federal District Courts and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.  We find that our location provides an excellent platform for our legal practice.

The San Francisco Customhouse is the service port for the region as well the base of Customs National Center for Excellence and Expertise (CEE) in Apparel & Textiles  Additionally, the San Francisco Field Offices oversee all U.S. Customs ports of entry in Northern California, including the Customs Port of Oakland, San Francisco International Airport (SFO), Oakland International Airport (OAK), San Jose International Airport (SJO), and the Port of Reno.  The San Francisco Customs field offices additionally provide oversight and management to other northern Customs ports of entry, including:  Portland, Seattle, Blaine, Sumas, and Anchorage.  

Other Customs "regions" near our California office include Oakland, San Francisco, the Bay Area & Silicon Valley, as well as other west coast customs ports, such as: Blaine, Seattle, Portland, Reno, Los Angeles/Long Beach Seaport, Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Anaheim, San Diego, and Otay Mesa.
